Solution
Hidden in the notification centre of the mobile phone, the Duress Alarm is triggered when the user presses and holds the HELP button for half a second. Following an automated verification call an alert message is sent to their selected contacts.

Without unlocking the device, the user can conveniently initiate a request for help via a two to three tap process.

Once the alarm is triggered, the device will receive an automated confirmation phone call. False alarms are easily intercepted by answering the call and entering a dedicated PIN. Failure to answer the call or input the correct PIN, will result in an SMS alert being sent to the users emergency contacts.
